WE ARE 20 is a landmark celebration of people, practices, purpose and progress. This year’s Retreat marks 20 years of Hakim Group, and we’re celebrating it together at Telford International Centre.

The TIC was chosen for its convenience, accessibility and ultimately size... to house our ever growing family of independent practices, as well as our fantastic practice teams from across UK and Ireland, and as you'll see, there are A LOT of teams now!

More than 60 approved suppliers fill the trade show, making it the UK’s second-largest optical trade show under one roof.

Our 2026 line-up brings Olympic champions, entrepreneurs and adventurers to the main stage. If you’ve been before, expect a Retreat that pushes your boundaries. If it’s your first time, you’ve got a lot to look forward to.

Each Annual Retreat is unique, fun and vibrant. We welcome new faces to the extended HG family, as well as reconnecting with old friends, each time we carry the weekend's theme into the new year as a guiding mantra.
